LIVE WEDDING PAINTING
What does the process look like for live wedding paintings?
On the day of your event, I will arrive early and set up my easel prior to your guests’ arrival. As guests arrive they will see a blank canvas transform. Depending on the level of detail, your painting may even be ready to take home with you that same night!
What materials do you use for your live wedding paintings?
Paintings are created using acrylic paint on 20x24 inch stretched canvas, traditional profile 3/4 inch depth.
LIVE GUEST PORTRAITS
What does the process look like?
I will arrive at your event 30 minutes before the start time for set up. Guests interested in a live portrait sketch will add their name onto a sign up sheet. After they sign in, I will take a photo of them and they can go back to enjoying the event! The sketches will be completed in the order on the list. Finished drawings are wrapped in a protected sleeve and easily displayed for the guests to pick up during or after the event.
What materials do you use for your live guest portraits?
Guest portraits are created using watercolor, pencil and ink on watercolor paper. Finished portraits are placed in a protective sleeve for guests to take home.
How many guest portraits can you complete at my event?
Each portrait takes approximately five-ten minutes to create, allowing me to capture around 50 guests during a standard five hour event. To clarify how the portrait count works, each person counts as one portrait. For example, if two guests are painted together on one card, that would count as two portraits toward the total of 50. Every sketch is carefully composed, ensuring each guest receives a personalized piece. If you are looking for all of your guests to receive a portrait, I have packages that can accommodate!
What happens if I would like more guests portraits completed at the end of the event?
During the event I will take photos of the guests and complete the remaining portraits in my studio. Finished pieces are mailed in a stay flat envelope up to 2 weeks after the date. These make a perfect addition to your thank you cards!
